2004

After a great 10-2-1 start to the season, the Rhinos went 5-8-2 in their final 15 games to finish the year 15-10-3. The Rhinos met the rival Montreal Impact in the postseason, but were eliminated two games to none in the best-of-three series. In the U.S. Open Cup, the Rhinos defeated the New England Revolution – marking their first win over an MLS team in the tournament since 1999 – before being eliminated by the Charleston Battery.

After the season, Pat Ercoli was fired as head coach and replaced with Laurie Calloway.
